Welcome to Goblin of the Week, where the concept is so sinple even Goblin players will get it. Every week, we pick one Goblin. That Goblin is Goblin of the Week. That's it. We are also aware there’s a typo in the first sentence but we don’t fixing typos for Goblin of the Week either which is a new rule we just invtented.
You may be wondering how we pick the illustrious Goblin of the Week? You're assuming we've thought that far ahead. And thinking is for Blue.
“This creature deals 2 damage to any target and 3 damage to you.”
Has there ever been a more Goblish line of rules text than that? Yes, you can bombard people (or yourself) to your heart’s content, but so few Goblins delve into the realms of being asymmetrically worse for you than your opponent. Enter: Goblin Artillery.
But why are we here, if not to make our weakness into strength? Yes, Goblin Artillery is the Goblin of the Week because it teaches us a very important lesson: Goblins should never, ever play fair.

Really, this whole thing was just a pun to announce something cool. When we first started Goblin of the Week, we reached out to a bunch of the original artists who, for some inexplicable reason, got back to us to talk about the art on their cards. So yes, Goblin of the Week has now tapped to add a Goblin column for each Goblin column we control. Check out Goblin Art-illery.
