Okay, I owe you all an apology. Last week was Goblin 007 and I really, really should have used this one instead. So, from Manacat with love, here’s Goblin of the Week 008: Goblin Secret Agent.

Goblin Secret Agent is a 2/2 with First Strike and a face that really puts Roger Moore’s later years into perspective. 2004 was a simpler time.

Is Goblin Secret Agent a good card? No. Is there some deep-cut combo that makes Goblin Secret Agent strike like Thunderball? Also no. Is Goblin Secret Agent so back-breakingly terrible that it’s worth foisting upon your opponents with a Bazaar Trader? Still no. Ah, so there must be some payoff for utilising that License To Be Killed! Big Doctor No. Then… maybe the flavour text makes him work with silver-bordered supervillain Baron Von Count? Ehhhh still not so much.

So what does Goblin Secret Agent have going for it? Uhhh…
